Nell’ambito
del Progetto Comenius “Castles: a Precious Historical Heritage”, dal 23 al 28
Maggio si è svolto il quarto e ultimo incontro di progetto a Gediz, in Turchia,
a cui hanno partecipato la Prof.ssa Silvana Raccuia, referente del progetto, la
Prof.ssa Donatella Guarrera, il Prof. Renato Bonaccorso e le alunne: Rapisarda
Rosaria (4° A Ch) e Viola Roberta (4° A Ch).
L’incontro ha avuto
inizio presso l’Istituto “Gediz Ticaret
Meslek Lisesi”
con una calorosa accoglienza da parte
del Dirigente Scolastico, delle autorità locali,
dei docenti, ma soprattutto
degli alunni, i quali hanno piacevolmente intrattenuto gli ospiti Italiani,
Polacchi e Portoghesi con musiche e danze tradizionali.
Sono seguiti momenti
di impegno didattico, incentrati sulla
presentazione del lavoro svolto durante i due anni di attività e sulla
definizione degli ultimi particolari per la compilazione del prodotto finale che
sarà presentato sia in formato digitale (DVD) che in formato cartaceo
(libretto).
Il programma
settimanale ha anche previsto momenti di interesse turistico-culturale
dedicati alla scoperta del territorio del Paese ospitante, sono state infatti
organizzate visite a Gediz, Aizonai, Kuthaya
(visita al Castello) e Istanbul.
Il senso di ospitalità e la generosità del popolo
turco, insieme alla bellezza dei luoghi, alla conoscenza delle tradizioni e dei
costumi e alla scoperta dei sapori speziati della cucina locale, hanno reso
questa esperienza intensa, interessante e fonte di un prezioso arricchimento
culturale e personale.
Il meeting in Turchia ha costituito inoltre una
splendida occasione per tutti i partecipanti, poiché ha consentito il confronto
con colleghi e studenti di nazionalità e di culture diverse, la nascita di nuovi
rapporti di amicizia, un’intensa pratica della lingua inglese e un’ulteriore
apertura delle porte della nostra scuola all’Europa.

the
Comenius Project “Castles: a Precious Historical Heritage”,
the
fourth and last project meeting took place
at
“Gediz
Ticaret Meslek
Lisesi” in Turkey from 23rd
to 28th May.

took part in
the
meeting.
The
Italian, Polish
and Portuguese delegations were
warmly welcomed
at school by the
headmaster, the local authorities, the
teachers, but especially
by the students,
who pleasantly
entertained the guests
with traditional music and dances.
During the meeting all the partners worked on the project and
focused on the presentation of
the work done during the
two years of activity and on the
definition of the final details
for the
final product that will be
presented in digital format
(DVD) and in
hard copy (booklet).
The weekly program
also provided
moments of touristic and cultural
interest, dedicated to the
discovery of the territory
of the host country, in fact
visits and trips to Gediz,
Aizonai,
Kuthaya
(visit of the Castle)
and Istanbul were organized.
The great
sense of hospitality
and the generosity of Turkish
people, together with the
beauty of the sites, the knowledge of
the traditions and customs and
the discovery of the spicy tastes of the
local cuisine, made
this experience
intense, interesting and
a source of
valuable cultural and
personal enrichment.
The
meeting
in
Turkey was
also
a wonderful
opportunity
for all
participants,
since it
allowed
a comparison
with
colleagues
and
students
of
different
nationalities
and
cultures,
the
beginning
of
new friendships,
an intense
practice
of the English language
and
an additional
opening
of
our
school
doors to Europe.
